Upshift does not charge Upshifters any fees to use Upshift. The only time an Upshifter may pay a fee is when they request that we conduct a certain type of screening (for example a drug test) that allows them to access more shifts or fails to return borrowed equipment. Please also keep in mind that we are required by state and federal law to withhold income taxes and garnishments.
Uphift charges companies a flat percentage on top of what Upshifters are paid. This means that Upshift only makes money when Upshifters make money and we never take money from Upshifters' pay to make money.
Additionally, companies are also charged a conversion fee if they hire on an Upshifter by converting them onto their payroll early. Upshifters may also qualify for a bonus if they are converted on to a client so contact us if you have been as you may qualify for a bonus in some cases!
