Badges are add-ons that you can get on your profile. Badges can indicate an achievement such as Novice Upshifter, Beginner Upshifter, Master Upshifter, etc. You can also get badges on your profile by adding certifications to your profile. These can be added to your profile by messaging our customer support team a picture of your certificate.
Badges, such as ones that indicate an Upshifter has passed a background check, can be required for Upshifters by businesses in order to apply for shifts they post on the Upshift platform.
You can also get the Covid Vaccine badge added to your account. To get this added, you will need to send our support team a message with a picture of your CDC vaccination card attached.
While you cannot obtain these certifications through Upshift, you can find these certification courses online. Here are two common certification websites to get you started:
