Welcome to Work with Friends! This guide will walk you through the functionality, enabling you to invite friends, create groups, and work together! Let's get started!
Inviting Friends:
As an Upshifter, you have the ability to invite up to 2 friends to join the group. You can invite them via email or text message. The invitation sent to your friends will expire after 24 hours, so make sure they respond promptly.
How Invitation Works
While you can invite multiple friends, please note that you can invite the same Upshifter a maximum of three times within a 30-day period. This limitation ensures a fair usage of the invitation system.
Group Conditions:
As an Upshifter, you can be a part of up to three groups. Each group can have a maximum of three members, including yourself. This ensures a balanced distribution of members within each group.
What are the group statuses?
There are two member states in Upshifter: Creator and Member. Let's understand the privileges and capabilities of each state.
a. Creator:
As a Creator, you have the ability to apply for shifts on behalf of the group.
You can name or rename the group to your preference.
You have the authority to remove members from the group if necessary.
You can invite new members to join the group up to the maximum limit of three.
Lastly, you have the option to delete the group entirely.
b. Member:
As a Member, you can view the list of group members.
If you wish to leave the group, you have the freedom to do so.
We’ve created the group; how can we apply the shifts?
As a Creator, when it comes to applying for shifts, you have the option to choose which groups you want to apply with if you are a part of multiple groups. This flexibility allows you to prioritize your preferences and make informed decisions.
By following these guidelines, you'll be able to work with friends. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. Happy Upshifting!
FAQ :
Q: How does the shift confirmation process work if I apply as a group?
A: Each Upshifter will be asked to confirm their shifts individually. This means that you will receive a notification or prompt to confirm your assigned shift. It is important to confirm your shift to ensure accurate scheduling and avoid any confusion.
Q: How does the clock-in-out process work if I apply as a group?
A: As an Upshifter, you will be responsible for clocking in and out of your shifts individually. This means that you need to initiate the clock-in process when you start your shift and clock out when you finish.
Q: Will I have the opportunity to rate the shifts I complete as an Upshifter?
A: Yes, you will have the chance to rate the shifts you work on. After completing a shift, you will be asked to provide a rating based on your experience. Your feedback is valuable and helps to improve the overall shift quality and work environment.
Q: How are strikes handled within the Work with Friends?
A: In the event of any issues or rule violations, strikes may be issued. It's important to note that strikes are given to individual Upshifters and not to the entire group. Each Upshifter is responsible for their own actions and adherence to the platform's guidelines.
