Why should I add my experience?
Adding your previous work experience in the Experience section helps our team match you with relevant shifts based on your skills and preferences.
Why is my experience not listed as an option?
This is because we've focused on the positions most frequently posted on the Upshift platform.
What if I want to add some experience that isn’t listed?
At this time, you are only able to select from the available industries and positions. If you have previous experience outside of these options, you can add them to your Bio so they are visible to employers.
Will my Upshift experience be added here?
Experienced gained on the Upshift platform will not be automatically added to your Experience section, but it can be included anytime by editing your previous answers.
What if I have already mentioned my experience in my Bio?
While mentioning experience in your Bio is visible to employers, it doesn't contribute to custom shift recommendations; we recommend adding it to the Experience section for full advantage.
What if I don’t add my experience?
You will not be penalized in any way for not participating in the Experience survey. You will still have access to all the shifts posted on the platform.
