Upshift has partnered with Earnin allowing Upshifters to access their money as they earn it- instead of waiting for payday. Please keep in mind that in order to qualify to use Earnin with Upshift, you must have already received two paychecks from Upshift via direct deposit, have a smartphone, and have a US Checking Account. Pay cards are not accepted by Earnin.

To get started, download the Earnin App for either iPhone/Android or by visiting www.earnin.com. Located below are a few FAQs to assist with any Earnin questions.

How do I sign up for Earnin?

First, you will need to go to Earnin.com or download the Earnin app from Google Play or Apple App Store. Once you have created an Earnin account, you will need to add Upshift as an employer using the below information:

  • Work Status (employed)

  • Company (Upshift)

  • Pay Type (Hourly)

  • How are your work hours tracked (Online. Set your location settings to Always)

  • Work Address (Use the office address listed on your pay stub)

Does Earnin charge fees or interest?

Earnin does not charge mandatory fees, or interest, or have any hidden costs to use the app. They rely on the community's support by voluntarily tipping what they think is fair when they use the app. When you tip at Cash Out, you're supporting Earnin and an entire community of people, but there are no mandatory fees or interest.

I don’t have a work email, can I opt out of providing a work email?

If you don't have a work email but you're being prompted about it, just let us know!

  2. Navigate to the Earnings Info screen by tapping on your earnings amount next to the bank balance on the home screen.
